Having already attracted a number of events and new visitors to the region since its completion in late 2018; the White Park Indoor Horse Arena is Upper Hunter’s first and much anticipated all-weather outdoors sports facility located in the horse capital of Australia, Scone, NSW.

Awarded the design and construct tender for the 5,400sqm facility, Akura oversaw the first phase of the project; delivering architectural and structural designs, engineering, footings, cladding and over 80 tonnes of structural steel.

We value the opportunity to work with Councils such as the Upper Hunter Shire to deliver quality developments aimed to benefit their local areas, and one of the contributing factors of being awarded the contract was our ability to build the arena in time for the years’ scheduled equine events.

The White Park Horse Arena is a classic example of our capability to offer customised engineered structural building packages – fast; with the first phase of the project spanning approximately 8 weeks from footings through to completion.
